Children have presented and explained their STEM work to others this year.
- Sixth Class took part in the RDS Science Fair
- Fourth Class held a Science Assembly to share some of the great work they’ve been doing in Science this year.
They explained the science behind some of the investigations they have undertaken this year.
One group demonstrated how their string telephones worked, while a class mate explained why it worked.
Another group demonstrated the moving picture and torches they made as part of our circuits projects and explained how to make a circuit work.
Some of the girls presented a PowerPoint showing how we made plastic and showed off some of our finished ornaments.
Some of the boys shared their Scratch Projects with the assembly and the coding involved in making the sprite move.
Some other children presented the boats, bridges and planes they designed and made during Engineer’s Week and explained how they made them and how the class tested them to check they could hold weight/glide/float.
