I hope you are all keeping well and safe at home. Well done on all the school work you have completed and all the work you have been doing at home for your Mums and Dads J
This week is School Tour Week for Junior Infants. You can go to Dublin Zoo or San Diego Zoo in the links I have attached below! Dublin Zoo are having virtual tours every Monday at 10 am. They also have a section on their website of pre-loaded videos that you can view. Dublin Zoo also have a live web cam links to see some of your favourite animals J See some amazing animals and discuss which one is your favourite and why 😀

This week is Sports Week. Make sure to try and get outdoors to do something fun and active everyday! Each day the children have a sports day race, family fun activity, mini challenge and skipping up Carrauntoohil (which we started in school) and lots of challenges to choose from. Suggestions for suitable work to be completed in the event of Emergency school closures
- Revise Jolly phonics
- Revise/Finish all work in their folders and use these pages to begin a conversation.
- Practice correct formation of letters and numbers
- Write CVC words and draw pictures of them.
- Write their own simple sentences and draw a picture
- Read to your child and ask them questions about the story.
- Continue to cut, colour, paste, play with playdoh, make jigsaws etc.with your child.
- Practice number formation 1-5 and number rhymes
- Practice adding numbers 0-5
- Twinkl is a great site for lots of really good resources and they are offering free access for 1 month due to school closures which is brilliant.
